Jacqueline Hanzl (00:08)
Hi, this is Jackie.

Diana (00:09)
Hi, this is Diana.

Jacqueline Hanzl (00:11)
And this is HomeBodiesOnly, where we welcome all bodies to join us as we break down and dissect HBO Max series. This episode, we are talking about The Sex Lives of College Girls. Episode 9 Pics. You know, better late than never is all I have to say. Yes, we have. ⁓ Okay. first, let's talk about our pajamas.

Diana (00:28)
Yep, we've been busy.

Jacqueline Hanzl (00:37)
that Diana so generously bought for both of us. So you can, you want to tell them about them? There this, yeah, you go.

Diana (00:41)
Indeed.

Yeah, no,

they're like, I don't even know what the, I didn't even look at the blend, but it's got like a soft cotton feel. They're so cozy, like a light, lightweight blanket is the best way maybe. They're really comfy. Yeah. We got them from Walmart. They are the Joy Spun brand.

Jacqueline Hanzl (00:52)
Yep.

They are the softest material I've ever worn, like in my life. Yeah. Spun. Dreamy.

Diana (01:09)
And it's like a two piece with matching pants, but they're Capri

Jacqueline Hanzl (01:09)
Yes. Capri.

Diana (01:13)
length. But for me, for five, four, they come, can you show? They're so, they're so stinking cute. And they really do. Oh my gosh. I noticed they're so, I'm gonna do like a little half tuck here. I saw them, I was like, we have to have these zebra pajamas. They're fantastic. And I'm five foot four and they come to my ankle. So they're like the perfect length.

Jacqueline Hanzl (01:19)
the pants. They have pockets in the pants. Yeah. I know their pockets. Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Diana (01:39)
Fun fact about Diana, I can't sleep in shorts because I don't like when my knees touch. I have to have something in between my knee bones, I guess the word. I know how to describe it. Sure.

Jacqueline Hanzl (01:39)
and your medium.

⁓ Yeah.

I don't like to sleep in shorts unless I'm super hot. I mean, I don't have

central air. So if I get super hot, then that's fine. But no, I don't like to sleep in shorts either. I don't know what it is.

Diana (02:00)
I can't, I have to have pants. So these

were like such a good find. So Jackie's gonna do her homework and link them somewhere for you if you wanna get them.

Jacqueline Hanzl (02:09)
I will link it. Yep.

And I have an extra small. I'm five one, really five one and three quarters guys. I swear. ⁓ Yeah, because I'm almost five two. On one of my licenses, it said I was five two. And I was like, why? And then the nurse told me when she measured me, she's like, well, you are five one and three quarters.

Diana (02:13)
Yep.

Make sure you get the three quarters.

Yes, you should save at them.

Are you shrinking?

Jacqueline Hanzl (02:29)
No, won't. Like this was no, I was. 5.3. OK. But the extra small is good. mean, it's it's it's I can imagine like if it's very well the top I do. The pants are slightly. Slightly big, but not I've had bad like I don't know what is with pajama bottoms. They make them. From my experience, they make them kind of big. I don't want that. I don't want my waist, my pants to be falling down, though. You know what mean? Like.

Diana (02:41)
Yeah.

Yeah, and I prefer mine to be looser, but I'm in a small. Right? Am in a small?

Let me check. I think I'm in the small. Yeah, I have the small. I'm in the small. I'm five foot four, and I would say they're true to size. No, I'm in the small. Yeah, I got the small. Sorry, wait.

Jacqueline Hanzl (03:01)
you're in the small, small top. you're in the small. No, thought you were medium. No, thought you were. Yeah. No. Okay. That means yes. So,

right. And in clothes though, would you wear a medium or it depends on the-

Diana (03:18)
You

know, it depends. I prefer a medium and top sometimes if I'm going for the oversized. Look, I don't even get a large. I don't care. But if something a little bit more, you know, I can go. It depends. Like I'm like in that four to six category. So it's like, what is the cut? Who's the company? I can go anywhere from a small over to a large, honestly.

Jacqueline Hanzl (03:22)
and tops. Okay.

Right, Fitting. Depends on the cut. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. It's the same with me. Because I'm,

I'm, I am very tiny, but sometimes extra small is too, too small, too small. So, but anyway, but they are, I'm telling, like...

Diana (03:41)
Too small. Yeah, they're great.

Jacqueline Hanzl (03:48)
you almost have to get these. And I don't get any, we don't get money for it. So I'm just saying you have to at least touch them. mean, yeah. And she ordered, you ordered them online and they were out of the extra small online. So she went into the store, into the Walmart in Kingston, which is not a great fun place to go to. It's a little bit wrecking havoc sometimes. Yeah. Cats go once nicer. Okay.

Diana (03:50)
I don't want to take them off. I know, we should. Yeah.

And they had a ton at the store too.

You go when you have to go, it's all good. But hey, listen, the Joy, the JoyLab

or whatever, the JoySpun, I don't know why I keep saying JoyLab.

Jacqueline Hanzl (04:17)
Joy Spun. know. Because I said it, but I swear

on maybe the Joy Lab is part of it. the bet. One of the best parts about it. Yeah, that's my brothel. How in here, did you see what it says? Says you are gorgeous. It says you are gorgeous.

Diana (04:26)
Yeah.

my God,

the front door I didn't even notice I was so excited to put them on my gosh

Jacqueline Hanzl (04:34)
yeah. So I love when companies

do stuff like that. Like, thank you. Like, babe, babe, rosé, whatever, babe. You know I'm talking about. And they're like, you're so, you're looking good. They have to be around. I just haven't. Liquor stores?

Diana (04:42)
Yes, I missed that. Where are those by the way? Nobody sells them. I've gone at least locally.

If you see them please let me know because I even I have stopped at all my local spots.

Jacqueline Hanzl (04:57)
I'll have to check. I might have to go tonight. Just kidding. Yeah, I'm drinking water right now. Okay, I guess we should get into it. But seriously, I think I don't, I'm telling you, you kind of have to get them. Like I want every piece of my clothing to be made of this. Yes, 1698. Two piece, okay.

Diana (04:58)
have not seen them.

I mean, go for it.

Mm-hmm. Seriously, these, if you're a pajama gal, pfft.

What were they like 16 bucks? They weren't expensive. Yeah, listen, I'm a big target girl,

but these are phenomenal. I hope you know how much I love

Jacqueline Hanzl (05:23)
Yeah. Yeah. They

do sell Joy Spun on Amazon, cause I looked it up, but they didn't have these. They have satin ones in this print, I think. Okay. Okay. Sex on the College Girls, which yeah, it's been a while. We've gotten kind of busy. ⁓ It was even harder for me to watch these because I know the show is not coming back. Like that's what made me even more sad. Cause I know when they aired it, obviously people watched it. They didn't know that. So.

Diana (05:30)
Yep, great. Okay. don't know if we've talked about this. Anyway, moving on. I'm a fabric girl.

Yeah, it's not, it's done. Yeah.

Yeah.

Jacqueline Hanzl (05:53)
All right, let's start with the love. We're doing love hate. can relate. What? Fashion and background check. Okay. So for love.

Diana (06:00)
Fashion and background, yeah, yeah.

Jacqueline Hanzl (06:05)
I'm glad I can really read my writing. I went over this. Ask Kacey if she, ⁓ yes. They asked Kacey if she wants feedback about the room. And she's like, no. And they're like, I love it. That was the way they came back. Like the way they edit the sound on that. I just, I love that part. ⁓ She said, yeah. Then Bela's hair. when she goes to the storytelling night. Not when she does her thing. Cause I think that's the next episode, right? But when she,

Diana (06:07)
jeez.

you

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Jacqueline Hanzl (06:34)
Hoof did it. I don't know. I thought her hair looked really good. Kimberly, says, why are live photos even a thing? Photos shouldn't move. They're photos. That was great. When Whitney quits soccer, Kevin playing with kinetic sand. Of course I love Kevin. I mean, he might've been a little bit of a jerk because he did a snort about the picture, but I actually, I mean, I guess, you he's a dude, but I love him.

Diana (06:56)
Absolutely.

Jacqueline Hanzl (07:04)
Lila when she says, Lila says she loves talking to moms. That's why she still has a Facebook account. It's like, okay. ⁓ Okay. What are your loves?

Diana (07:11)
Yeah, awesome.

⁓ Loves ⁓ Professor Friedman's in this episode. So that always makes me happy Kacey with the room setup was hysterical It Just loved it I loved how enthusiastic she was Anyway and ⁓ And Leela my girl anytime she's on I'm we have to like what else what other product?

Jacqueline Hanzl (07:21)
Mm-hmm. Okay, yep.

my God. Yeah.

Didn't expect anything less.

Yeah.

I know

Diana (07:45)
Projects is she

Jacqueline Hanzl (07:45)
projects.

Diana (07:45)
going to be involved in because I'm gonna miss her the most I think

Jacqueline Hanzl (07:48)
She did

something before this season aired, I think a little more serious possibly. So yeah, mean, follow her on Instagram. It's funny as you cannot tag, like you can't tag her. Like you can't mention her in a story, you can't tag her. I'm like, okay, sorry. I mean, not that she's gonna look at it, but I'm like, okay. I mean, I can fricking tag probably. I mean, you can tag anybody usually, but whatever. Okay.

Diana (07:53)
Mm-hmm.

Okay, okay.

Yeah. Sure, sure.

Yeah.

Jacqueline Hanzl (08:15)
Anything else? Okay. Hates. Of course, when Brian gets mad at Kimberly, when she asks him to delete the photo, that was like disappointing, because I did like them together and he just turned into a jerk. Bela ⁓ when, you know, I agree with Bela about it being cool about a guy's body count and not a woman's. And then I hated when Taylor bought the vodka.

Diana (08:16)
That's it.

Hmm.

Right.

Same.

Jacqueline Hanzl (08:45)
Mm-hmm. What are you gonna add? That's all my hates. I think. Yeah.

Diana (08:47)
same.

Yeah, I've got

Whitney's meeting with the coach. Gross, I hated that, but then loved the way she obviously stood up for herself. The bedroom scene all around was a joke to me. I hated it, the canned, all the things, the bug net. mean, Taylor with the vodka, as you said. And then I wrote that I hated Whitney with the 80 pound weighted blanket because I was like,

Jacqueline Hanzl (08:53)
Yeah. ⁓

it was terrible. It was so uncomfortable.

so uncomfortable.

Yeah.

Diana (09:19)
Girl, there is a formula for that that is way too heavy for you. I know that you are not, I know it's an exaggeration, yeah. So I hated that because I was just like, no, you have to get the right weighted blanket for your weight. Anyway.

Jacqueline Hanzl (09:23)
Yeah, I mean, I obviously, yeah, but I know that was a little...

Yes. Yes.

⁓ Fashion, I can't remember which scene, this might've been the first scene, I'm not sure what, Bela's thigh-high black boots. And I, know, it's funny, I mean, I did, obviously thigh-high boots aren't really hard, that hard to come across, ⁓ but they weren't on any sites, the boots, so anyway, I'm surprised. Her white cutout blouse that she also wore to the, yeah, to the, ⁓ yeah, and I...

Diana (09:45)
⁓ yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Yeah.

Bela? Yeah.

Jacqueline Hanzl (10:08)
I found it was on Revolve. It's like $250. I don't know. It's ridiculous.

Diana (10:10)
Hmm.

Jacqueline Hanzl (10:13)
my God, it's called Bella shirt too. Bella shirt in ivory, it's spelled, it's just coincidence. Cause this Bella is spelled with two L's. it's $275 on Revolve. Like, no.

Diana (10:16)
the front door.

Mmm.

Yeah, Revolve has different, like I feel like they have price points all over the place.

Jacqueline Hanzl (10:30)
Yeah. Yeah. And actually

it was been so long since I took those notes. I had an Amazon similar one, but it's no longer available. So I found another Amazon similar one. That's $31.11. Weird amount. Yeah. It's not prime though.

Diana (10:37)
Yeah.

a look for less. I like it.

Jacqueline Hanzl (10:49)
but they have, it's 100 % cotton. Yeah. They have, they say that they're saying they only have one like in each side, no featured offers available. So extra small, small, medium, large goes to, was that for my fashion? Oh no, think you might have, well, I don't know if you have this, Whitney's Champion, pink, black, white plaid hoodie. Okay, let me show it to you. I did like it.

Diana (10:50)
thing is coming on a boat that's always good I'm into that

Did not.

Jacqueline Hanzl (11:19)
I love some of her af- afleta wear or whatever. Yeah. I love it. You can't get this. It is, it's champion. It's a champion. Let me see. Let me just double check. Champion's in my head, but sometimes I mess it up. Uh, yes. Champion classic fleece pullover hoodie in purple plaid. And it is out of stock. Um, and I, like I even tried today looking just to see. No, no. And I, yeah.

Diana (11:21)
Yeah, her athletic leisure or whatever. Yeah.

feel like Champion made a comeback around here for a while.

Jacqueline Hanzl (11:48)
A little bit. Yeah, I like

Diana (11:49)
Yeah, maybe a little bit.

Jacqueline Hanzl (11:50)
that one. I think that was it for fashion for me.

Diana (11:52)
I

just had one for fashion. was Kacey's pajamas or if we call it lounge wear. She must have been ⁓ in the suite there. Yeah, very cozy, comfy.

Jacqueline Hanzl (11:57)
Okay.

when they were talking about maybe, no, wait, she gave him the ice

cream. I'm trying, like she gave him the frozen yogurt gift certificates or gift cards ⁓ when she was dressed because they had been to breakfast, I think, and they came back or something like, I know she had her sweater on, so I don't know which pajamas, what color were they? Okay. Because we took these notes. I don't even know when, no idea.

Diana (12:09)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah. I have no idea. I didn't write the color. just said that I liked them. Sorry. A long time ago.

May, maybe? Two months ago? For time stamping. It's been many, many, many weeks. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, we had another show to do, so. And we have lives, by the way, so.

Jacqueline Hanzl (12:27)
I don't even know, was it May? I mean, we, yeah. And I really kind of, hate to say, I kind of forgot. Remember I was like, hey, we, sorry. Yes, we are doing another show.

That's true. I was like, live stream? No, we don't.

Diana (12:42)
Fun fact.

Did you have any I can relate? Because I had zero. I couldn't really relate to anything this episode. Yeah.

Jacqueline Hanzl (12:47)
No, I can relate.

No, background check. You have a background check?

Diana (12:53)
I I had

one. So I noticed, I was so excited that I noticed in Kacey's bedroom, she had a mini bathtub in the background on like a shelf or something. And for show and tell purposes, I have a mini bathtub that is very special to me. It is ceramic. I don't know who made this. I should ask my mother, but I have this because it was one of my favorite things in my grandmother's bathroom.

Jacqueline Hanzl (13:03)

What is it?

Aww.

Yep.

Diana (13:22)
And I used to love, she used to actually keep her razors in here on her countertop in her bathroom. And then ⁓ I got to have it. She gave it, I can't remember if, I believe she gave it to me when she moved out of the one, ⁓ like condo to the next. Or did she still have it and I got it when she passed? I can't remember, but I remember as a little girl like wanting this. It's so cute.

Jacqueline Hanzl (13:25)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Mmm, you're so cute.

Diana (13:51)
And I keep

my retinol in it so that I don't forget to put that on at night. And I still have, this might gross people out, but my best friend growing up, her name is Jamie Martinez. And I still have this nail scrubber that she got me. from the body shop. I disinfect it. It still works. She will laugh if she sees this. ⁓ I can still remember the gift she got me from the body shop. It was like this with like soap or whatever. And this is like the best nail.

Jacqueline Hanzl (13:53)
Nice.

To clean nails?

⁓ you can, it looks, yeah. Yeah. I love it. Yes. Well, tell the people.

cute.

Diana (14:21)
Keep it in my little...

Jacqueline Hanzl (14:21)
It looks sturdy. So for people just listening, the bathtub is a creamy white ceramic with pink flowers, pink and purple flowers.

Diana (14:28)
Yeah, it's got like these pink flowers

and then like a little gray, ⁓ the center, and I've got to ask my mom if this, because that's the thing, my mom did ceramics and now I'm wondering if my mom made this or if, and it's got this like crackling that you might not be able to see, but it's all around, you can probably see on the bottom, right? But typically there would be,

Jacqueline Hanzl (14:35)
Yep. Can you see who made it on the bottom?

mom made it?

Mm-hmm. I can't see it on there now. I see it on the bottom. You gotta ask your mom.

Diana (14:54)
I'll have to ask my mom because my mom did ceramics and there's a good chance that she made this for her and if not, I can't see anything. I know and I, God, I wish I would have asked my grandmother. I just always, I was obsessed with this thing. I don't know why.

Jacqueline Hanzl (14:58)
She did it.

They don't have a name. Should be on the, it would be on the bottom, I would think.

I know like there's

always yeah. then yeah, there were things I know my grandmother would have and I'm like, I love this. Like, and I'd look at it. ⁓ Yeah, I thought you were going to say that you like put your Barbies in it like when you were little, because I would have totally put my Barbie in that bathtub. That's a Barbie bathtub. Yeah, I don't. I know I don't either.

Diana (15:20)
Yes.

Oh my God, you've totally, you totally could, but I don't keep much on my countertop in my bathroom. But this

is on my, in my corner of the counter and it will be. Yes. It's an elephant. Yes, with yellow bristles. And it's, do you remember the body shop? Did y'all have those here?

Jacqueline Hanzl (15:36)
The nail scrubber, sorry, I'm cutting you off, is an elephant, it's like a Barbie pink or maybe a little darker color. Yellow bristles. ⁓ yeah,

I think there still is one in Albany, maybe at one of the malls, possibly, unless it went out of business. It was there for a while. yeah.

Diana (15:51)
Okay, yeah, it was super popular. It was like super popular back in the day. ⁓

I don't, does it say? No, but it definitely, yeah, right here on the side. my God.

Jacqueline Hanzl (16:02)
This is Body

Shop. Body Shop. Nice. It looks like it does not look old. It looks great.

Diana (16:05)
think it says it on the side or something, but it doesn't,

but he is growing strong. This thing is, I mean, that was when I grew up in Kenmore. So, and I went to St. Andrews with Jamie and we were best friends and this was like a birthday gift or, and I can't remember for which birthday, but you know, then I, whatever. So I was probably like nine, 10, something around then, and I'm 43 next month.

Jacqueline Hanzl (16:12)
I it.

Right. You're probably like, right. I was going to say 10-ish or something. Yeah. Yeah.

Diana (16:35)
Like I said, I disinfected and stuff and look at the fristles they're like Brand new they don't make them like they used to people. Okay, so there it is anyway That's all I had

Jacqueline Hanzl (16:37)
That's awesome. It's lasting. They look perfect. Everyone who can't see. No, they don't. Definitely not. Definitely not. Okay. That's all we got.

Well, thanks everybody.

Diana (16:53)
